Brands carrying "Hong Kong Top Brand Mark" are registered brands under the Hong Kong Top Brand Mark (Top Mark) Scheme, which is organised by the Hong Kong Brand Development Council. A "Top Mark" brand should be an awardee of Hong Kong Top Brand or Hong Kong Top Service Brand; and it should go through an assessment every year to ensure its continuous superior performance in respect of Reputation, Distinctiveness, Innovation, Quality, Image and Environmental Performance and Social Responsibility."Top Mark" represents the hallmark of reputation, quality and confidence, and it is used for business promotion in connection to the accredited brands, the company thereof and registered product/ service categories.

Brands carrying "Hong Kong Top Brand Mark (Premier Mark)" are registered brands under Hong Kong Top Brand Mark (Top Mark) Scheme, which is organised by Hong Kong Brand Development Council. The registered brand should be an awardee of Hong Kong Premier Brand or Hong Kong Premier Service Brand; and it should go through an annual assessment to ensure that it is continually achieved remarkable performance in respect of Reputation, Distinctiveness, Innovation, Quality, Image and Environmental Performance and Social Responsibility. "Top Mark" represents the hallmark of reputation, quality and confidence, and it is used for business promotion in connection to the accredited brands, the company thereof and registered product/ service categories.

Brands carrying "Hong Kong Emerging Brand Logo" (Emerging Logo) are winners of Hong Kong Emerging Brand or Hong Kong Emerging Service Brand as organised by Hong Kong Brand Development Council. The Emerging Awards are presented to up-and-coming young brands aged not more than 8 years, which demonstrate impressive performance especially in respect of creativity, distinctiveness, quality and trustworthiness. The winning brands are entitled to use Emerging Logo for promoting its overall image and that of the company, within two years after the award conferment.

Goods carrying "HK Mark" are certified as being produced or manufactured in Hong Kong. Introduced by Hong Kong Brand Development Council, the Made in Hong Kong Mark (HK Mark) Scheme provides a visualised endorsement mechanism for country-of-origin by leveraging on Hong Kong’s official Certificate of Origin regime.
